I've got way too many fucking books to read lately. Aidan gave me a ton of stuff the other night, and I recently bought a tablet for the express purpose of reading more comics (specifically Berserk at Bill's recommendation).

Recently bought physical copies of the following.

Apocalypse Culture
Black Metal - Evolution of the Cult
Black Metal - The Cult Never Dies pt, 1
Revival - Resurrecting the Process Church of the Final Judgement
Encyclopedia of Hell

And a few others I don't feel like mentioning.

In a benzo induced stupor I also ordered some books by Fr. Malachi Martin regarding active Luciferianism in the Vatican.

I'm rereading the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The last three books I finished were non fiction - research for my WW2 impression.

Nazi Chic: Fashioning Women in the Third Reich
Savage Continent:  Europe in the Aftermath of World War II
Last Ride of the Valkyries: The Rise and Fall of the Wehrmachthelferinnenkorps During WW2

I can't tell how I feel about this album.  I just "discovered" it in my saved links list from six years ago.  I remember loving this album but I'm kind of bored with it now.  I do quite like the second track.
Black Metal / Poison Blood

POISON BLOOD is a collaboration between Jenks Miller (Horseback) and Neill Jameson (Krieg) born out of Millerís desire to write music that was an outlet for a more straightforward kind of aggression. The two musicians came together as fans of each other's work and a mutual appreciation for Beherit's classic Drawing Down the Moon LP and the experimental deathrock of cult UK act Rudimentary Peni. Although they have yet to meet in person, the project was crystallized with the contribution of Jameson's vocals. Across eight songs and 19+ minutes with explorations into deathrock, dungeon synth and the occult, POISON BLOOD's eponymous debut EP is a short but furious chronicle of cold, reptilian sonic terror. The result is a dark and low-fi exercise in mystic, minimalistic black metal exploring elements of deathrock, dungeon synth and the occult.

I'm really hyped for this, guys. Imperial's vocals are a lot different than I've heard from him before. Probably gonna preorder this tbh.

This is pretty spot on.

Knightfall, if you're looking for more stuff that is something like this, have you checked out dream pop and trip hop as genres? A lot of those kinds of bands create the same ambient and drone effects, but it's hard to find stuff that's this dark.

They're recording new material. Hoping for a 2017 release date.

I've been playing The Witcher 3 recently and I really regret not getting into it sooner. It's the perfect combination of all the things done right in the previous two entries, plus some fantastic new design. I'm really stoked to see what Projekt Red is going to be doing in the future. They've got a new project coming out, Cyberpunk 88 or something like that, and some hackers are trying to blackmail them. To which the studio replied "fuck you"

Gotta admire that.

Anyone keeping up on e3?
