Animals Killing People

Are you still doing that Animals Killing People thing, Cappa?

We did a tour of South America in 2014. It was fun, but horribly mismanaged. Long story short, we played Medellin, got straight into a car, took a 15 hour public bus ride to Ibague Ciudad Rock Festival, and played to 3,500 people. My back gave out about halfway through the first song, but I kept it up. After the set, there was an interviewing section where we did a few interviews, then I was able to collapse in the pain I had been in for about an hour; EMS had an epidural loaded for me, but thankfully the oral muscle relaxer kicked in before I got stuck with that crap. I came home shortly after, before the last leg of the tour, and I quit the band $8,000 in debt.

Here's us at Ibague, my last show. We were playing through house stacks, so we unfortunately don't sound that great here. Notice me playing off the pain. Definitely watch through the whole video, as we were sloppy coming into the first song.

Well, I guess I can stop caring about what happens to them.

I stopped caring a long time ago, but the good memories are still great, and I'm proud of this performance.

Damnit, I posted the wrong video, by the way:
