watching star wars: rebels. it's actually pretty decent.

also trying to find an acceptable base design for the next von:tes theme. the problem with the current one is that the way the template is configured makes certain features i'd like to add incompatible (specifically "topic descriptions," similar to those present on the original VON zetaboard). i might put the forum into maintenance mode later on for some testing, I have an idea but would prefer to avoid embarrassment if i accidentally the site.

i don't know if it's on netflix, but it's relatively new. takes place between ep III and IV, introduces a lot of stuff from the EU including Thrawn.

i haven't seen much of that one. it started off as typical kiddie fare, but supposedly it gets darker as it progresses.

also, successfully tracked down a stellar template. it's going to take quite a bit of work to bring it up to par, but it'll be worth it. much excite

After a hard drive crash about a year ago that killed 15 years of my music collecting, I'm starting from scratch, this time in lossless. It sucks, but in the end it will be better than what I originally had.

If you know of extensive torrent sites that have a good amount of lossless files, please link me.

Yup. Some private trackers can be worthwhile too, I've used this one a bit:  http://en.metal-tracker.com/ I grab everything in wav format, if I can. I've got 3 terrabytes of usb hard drives, so storage isn't really a problem as of yet. Albums I really enjoy I'll put on my portable rig in lossless, some I just convert and leave a master file on the hard drives. You might find a few here too: http://alllossless.net/

Going to join a local martial arts club next month to start my boxing and thaiboxing training again.Been rope skipping for some time now to improve my endurance and still working out with my good old kettlebells,so that getting into my beloved world of fighting wouldn't be that hard.Shit is about to get serious again

Been wanting to take survival courses, myself.  Civilization has become nauseating.

Mind's a little fragmented right now.  Have been sort of thrust into a social life and it has confirmed why I'm not social.  I'm good at it.  Too good.  Humans are exhausting.  Except Joel, but he's basically me anyway so that doesn't count.

Have some new equipment, but the set is incomplete.  My cab is not powerful enough to hold up to the Sunn I put on it so I need a new one.  Also need a new low-end amp because the one I've been using doesn't seem capable of withstanding the effects I'm putting on it now, which shouldn't be too bad because those are cheap, but stores have frustratingly small selections for bass.  Also need a mic and a PA so we can have proper rehearsals.  Also might get a new bass soon.  My Yamaha is good, but I've reached the point where I'm really picky about how things sound and I have my eye on a few used Peaveys and a Schecter but that will require apples to apples testing and whatnot.  Uncle Sam has been generous with my tax returns, so it's just a matter of finding the right shit.  Unfortunately music is the only stable thing in my life right now so even a few days worth of setbacks are maddening.

I also need to get to work organizing the book thing I'm writing.  I write best when I'm going a little nuts so there's a lot to brainstorm.

How are you guys?  You need to stop trying to ded this place.

I'm still trying to find full time work. My son's disability check got cut off, apparently hemophilia isn't a disability anymore. The fucks won't even help us pay for a wheelchair, and he'll probably need one soon, spring seems to lead to more bleeds than usual. Last year he got one in his leg and couldn't walk for like 3 weeks. I mean, holy shit, some of my wife's family has kids with severe hemophilia, that shit is terrible, and now they got cut off. We're in the process of finding him some insurance, the wife's company may cover it, I dunno if I get any benefits whatsoever as a substitute teacher. One dose of factor 8 (a serious bleed often requires 3 or more) costs around 700 bucks. Did an interview for a motel the other day, but no word if I'm hired yet. Lol if I had a nickel for every job app I've filed out in the past few months...I'm not complaining too much about the check getting cut off, it's just they kinda jerked the rug with very little warning. Holy shit, does life ever just cut you a break? I mean, it wouldn't have been too bad if I had steady work. Fucking stress will be the death of me, probably sooner rather than later.

holy shit dude that sucks.i'm sorry to hear that, it's probably because it's sort of a 'niche' (i.e. not spotlighted or "fashionable") disease, hence they'll assume there will be no sort of uproar regarding. what the fuck.

i lost my apartment, my work cut hours, couldn't afford to live on my own. moved back to california. i work in a fucking taco shop now making burritos. fuck me. it's work at least. focusing on staying sober and doing music stuff, hoping i can remedy my situation and be back in  arizona within a year. or at least out on my own again.

Sorry to hear that.  Both of you.

I'm at a point where I just need to get out of my hometown.  I've been here for far, far too long.  The roots are decaying.
