Since we had the same thread on Metalthrone and I'm always curious about what you guys are dealing with intellectually,I thought it would be a good idea to start a new one.
I'm reading Thomas Mann's "The Magic Mountain" and Slavoj Zizek's "Less than nothing" at the moment, which will take some time to finish

Got done reading some chuck palahniuk novels (spec. Choke and Haunted) recently. Main focus right now is a Zachariah Sitchin book and in between a retelling of norse mythology by neil gaiman. The latter item is more or less redundant as i've heard and read better versions of the tales told,, but some augmentation is always nice.

since i've moved though i rediscovered my moderately sized library and realised how much i haven't read of it yet, so there we go. first things are most likely a book by john waters and diary of a drug fiend by crowley. on second thought might put that last one off for a while because i'm still fresh off the heroin boat and that might send me on a tailspin, so maybe some nice volumes on ritual magic instead.

i also got some kind of academic book on heavy metal circa the 70s and 80s, i can't recall the name, it was given as a gift and looked ok.

The complete novels and short stories of Sherlock Holmes by A.C. Doyle and a scientific book about meditation,a topic I'm really obsessed with at the moment
