Started a new game as Muscovy. I've made some mistakes along the way, but fuck I'm fighting a two front war against Sweden and Ottomans. Winning. Just crushed the Golden Horde and Novgorod. Allied with the Poles. Can't become Russia and it's 1560 lol, not enough Admin power. Fucking Muslims always rebelling, but being Defender of the Faith has helped a lot, with the extra missionary.

I played a game where you are a T-Rex and jump over cacti and pterodactyls on the offline screen of a browser the other day.  That was exhilarating.

Really though the lack of story driven single player games in the current gen has all but killed my interest in gaming as of late.

I downloaded Arcanum: of Steamworks and Magick Obscura recently at Joel's recommendation and it looks good but my computer is handicapped and I've been too busy/lazy to download the patch I need.

I'm playing eve online because it's f2p now. It's pretty  fun. It's intended for group PvP focus I think

Because of my lack of money I haven't played anything, but I did get  a new computer with good internet. My ps3 broke down too so,
for a year I've played nothing.

The best rpg that's been invented ever hands down. The dialogues will make you laugh, believe me.It's so complex I've been playing it about seven times to the end

I guess I'll dig up that patch link sometime soon.  What I did get to see before it bugged out looked like a lot of fun.  I loved the depth in the character creation.  It's no surprise coming from Sierra.

That's true.Even though the graphics look a little bit old I couldn't imagine anything else that would fit better. You may as well take a look at pirate bay and search for Arcanum GOG (good old games),where you can download an already patched version of the game

The Metro duology is/was on sale from Humble for $5 so I sprung on it. About fifteen minutes into the second one. So far so good, albeit pretty linear. Makes me wanna go reboot STALKER.

I love the s.ta.l.k.e.r games.   Bought shadow of chernobyle when the game was just released and I am still addicted to it until this day. This is also the biggest reason why I could never get into the metro games. I don't like linear games, stalker gives you freedom to roam around the zone and do whatever you want. The first stalker game is truly a masterpiece.

CoP is pretty decent as well, especially with mods.

And to be fair, despite being linear, 2033 almost captures the same atmosphere. once you separate the two series' it becomes easier to stomach.

john, did you check out total war: warhammer yet? i managed to snag it for $12  a while ago but when i sat down to actually try it recently i was pleasantly surprised because of how bad their last game was.

i don't know anything about warhammer lore but this game is making me interested. the variety of characters, styles etc is very fascinating.

i've mostly gotten a kick out of my Chaos Warriors yelling out "blood for the blood god!" and "skulls for the skull throne"! every 25 seconds.
i want to know more about this blood god and how i might serve him

also anyone that uses Steam shall add me at FloatingSteel. pic is a roman statue.
i've had some great all nighters playing total war with Bill in the past. everyone interested will join the ranks of the enlightened and develop an interest in medieval warfare
