Knowing

I'm going to dump various resources like documentaries, pdfs and ebooks pertaining to any number of topics.
I'll try to post other things but simply because of where I have spent so much internet time a lot of my information collections are political so you'll have to eat my propaganda.
Feel free to contribute anything relevant.

is a documentary about antisemitism and includes interesting information on the indoctrination of young Israelis.

http://pastebin.com/GcpKyaen This is a collection of ebooks and such taken from "the right stuff" forum

http://pastebin.com/jaS9HrUn These are links from my bookmarks folder "history" which include podcasts, ebook archives and various other resources.

http://pastebin.com/vp1yMzsm A huge list of blogs that I got from God knows where. I assume they are mostly political.

Might like this, Knight. All kinds of photos from the Eastern Front. I was scrolling through some replies earlier, and a dude mentioned this book too, it's fucking expensive for a physical copy, but found a PDF link. Will read soon.

Well, been digging into my family tree. Found some really interesting shit. Like I'm not Irish, but a frog on my mom's side. Found a Johnny reb there. Found out my mom's family has been in Virginia since the 1600's. That's when the first Remy from France came over, because he was a Huguenot. Lol I might have the blood of Charles the Hammer. Can definitely trace back to Carlier de Remi. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~genbel/ramey/theremyfamily.html
Also, holy shit, I didn't know my cousins made national news lol. Also, to clear the air, they didn't beat the dude because he was gay, they beat him because he stole drugs from "Red". My family is based.

Maybe it's a partial info RootsWeb would provide you with? Would be so exciting though if you could trace back to centuries ago, there'd be so many of your relatives!

I got a few names from family, then a couple from genealogy sites (didn't pay shit, public records shouldn't be for fucking sale). Thankfully Scott County, Virginia keeps tons of good records. Then a document from the Louvre. I'm having a lot of trouble with my other other grandparents though, I'm gonna try and get both grandfather's military records to see if I can dig something up. I'm pretty sure 3 of my grandparents were from Virginia. This summer I'll try and put everything I find into as much as a comprehensive family tree as I can manage. Lol my son has a lot of frog in him, my wife's mother's family is also from France, she's only traced back to the early 1800's though. But she has some good info, her family is from Monroe, Michigan.

Weren't all Prussians in the military lol? That's cool in and of itself. Long, proud military tradition. Just finished a book about Frederick the Great.

During The Seven Years' War he fought Austria, France, Sweden, and Russia. Britain was an ally. Most of the Hohenzollerns were pretty bad ass.

any recommendations on mathematics? i didn't learn a thing in school and after i left i had to teach myself how to learn. mostly through conceptual understanding of theories, hence my great interest in history and politics.
the procedural method of learning mathematics did nothing for me as without a conceptual understanding the numbers and equations are nothing more than gibberish to me. i had standard marks but identifying which memorized processes needed to be applied to each problem isn't understanding.
i've just ordered Mathematics: Its Content, Methods and Meaning. 1120 pages of contributions by 18 soviet scientists and... words! explanations! i am hopeful it will serve me well.

I'm pretty retarded when it comes to math. Given time, I can do pretty well, but I always seem to forget the fucking rules within a few days.

I also sucked at Math, because I had the same problem as Aidan. Also,I never understood what it all was used for,why I needed to do it.Almost always,it seemed that I had to solve mathematical problems just for the sake of it
